Scott,

The first place I would look is your ground. Also do any of the vehicle lights do funny things while the trailer is connected?

Is this the only trailer you have connected to your H3? If so, I would take a test light or voltmeter, and connect it to the Uhaul connector on your truck to be sure they wired it correctly.
