On the contrary, it's a blast to drive, a pure driver's car. The Elise (and Exige) is the closest thing to a race car in a production vehicle on the road today at just about any price. Nothing handles like it.
The downside is it's a pain in the ass to get in and out of, the a/c sucks and not much for creature comforts like cruise control and cup holders...
I wouldn't want one for a daily driver but for a track car or weekend blast down a mountain twisty road you can't beat it for the money....
