Bebe's got it right, you cannot turn off ETC with an auto trans.
Carved out a good mudpit on my property too see how deep she'd go...when I finally got her stuck on the frame, 4lo locked rear diff, Stab control off, those brakes were working really hard to stop my spinning tires...or I might have got out of it!
A little dissapointed in that feature.
