I was down there two weeks ago..First time.Stayed at the Fairfield in North beach by a huge Wal-mart.Went to the old board walk and every two steps some knucklehead would ask"where ya from"I tried to keep walking but then This one goofball addressed my nine year old.That was it!
grossed the young person out, got back in the truck and drove back to the beach at the foot of our hotel.
Never again will I step a foot in South Myrtel beach.Nothing family about that place. Barefoot landing was pretty cool though.(North Myrtel)
