Nice rebutal HummerHippy.

I believe hybrids are more hyp than a workable solution. No one seems to be asking what happens to the fuel cell when it reaches the end of it's life cycle. They are also quiet of what heavy metals the cell is made of. I think we are trading one problem with another. Landfills full of old batteries and fuel cells. And please don't talk to me about recycling. I see how little is being recycled now. The main reason big cities and the northeast is pushing to recycle is because their landfills are getting full not because of concern for the enviroment.
I've even heard the argument about recycling nuclear fuel rods for years . They failed to mention one thing. The recycling process turns the spent fuel into weapons grade nuclear fuel. Not a good idea.

Hydrogen. Up and comming and looks promising. Except the fuel milage is't there yet.

Alcohol. Again up and comming. Except because of the law you must put something in it to make it so it can not be consummed by humans. In the case of e-85 they use 15 percent gas. It also costs almost as much as gas and again the MPG is not as good. With todays tecnology you also can not switch between e-85 and petrol unless you run the tank almost dry.

I'm still waiting for a better solution.
