Re: Cargo space
On my trip to Utah....
Rear Area:
bottom right, large roller camera bag, exact size allowable for rolling onto a plane, plus a smaller bag that zips to the front.
Bottom left, my son's gigantic suitcase that you could not roll onto a plane, you would have to check it.
On top of these two bags:
Two tripods in cases (one Manfrotto, and one Gitzo...not the type you purchase from Walmarts)
My two very large 54 inch wide duffel bags. One filled to the brim with clothes, the other completely filled with miscellaneous lens cases, hats, photos vests, blank pack of CD ROMS and DVDs, two half gallon canteens, camera back pack, GPS equipment and cradles.
Back seat (up):
Passenger side on seat - kids three camera bags, center of seat, tool bag, driver side, cooler filled with film, and other miscellaneous drink bottles.
On floor in back seat: Computer case, two emergency bags, DC/AC converter box, 800 AMP emergency jump starter with built in air compressor.
If I there had been three of us, with or without more camera equipment, I would have had to purchase a car top carrier, or tie this third person to the roof rack.
