Not sure of they changed this but when they first came out we had a customer that wanted a hitch and we swaped rear bumpers and hitch off another H3 but the rear Harnesses were different.

That sucks,
On most vehicles you can get a "plug and play" type harness that should plug into the trucks wiring harness.
Check out Pep Boys, NAPA or a dedicated trailer supply store. Hopefully somthing has come out by now.
