Thanks Doc.
No, I at this point I can't scientifically see how it would prevent viruses or the like. However, I can see how proper spinal alignment can help your body achieve optimum homeostasis (for lack of a better term) or in my case the manipulation can prevent further curvature. I live in the city of the Edgar Cayce Foundation. So the debate has been well thought through.
If a treatment makes sense to me I do it- or at least try it for awhile.
For instance- All the new medical findings of antioxidant advantages and the link with brightly colored fruits and vegetables have been in the homeopathic world forever. But then again, common sense tells you that those things are natural for a human being to find and eat and can be nothing but good for you anyway. We always do so well in feeding our pets what they would eat in thier natural environment but some people never give thought to what we would eat in ours. Though I appreciate a nummy treat here and there. Point being- there are lots of philosophies and I think them through regardless of their origin- but science is always good.
Furthermore, the mind has a tremendous influence on your health (placebo effect in example) so I'm going with whatever I think works at this point.
In other words, (what a freaky rant?!-sorry

) I can easily tune out anything weird.
