Default Re: Hipster's New Ride

So happy, I can't get the grin off my face! Been a week now! IT was just me taking the pics, so I had to stop and get out. Did run thry that puddle!! THere were a few bigger ones a little later.
I plan on taking the steps off. I think they'll just be a place to catch mud and snow. This is my first real off roader.
For me, it's always been more about being able to drive thru any weather and carry all my stuff. I'll start off slowly learning about off road techniques etc. Don't want to break a tie rod the first day. And then one day, lion's back!

I love the color, although first choice probably would have been sup blue. I was looking for a 5 speed. There were only a few on the lot. Wanted an 06 to save a few bucks. I have been dreaming about H3s before they came out. Saw the pics from the early car shows a few years ago. Saw this 5 speed, Adventure at the dealer for a while. Kept thinking about it, pondering. Reading this forum. Months went by. I went in last monday and bought it. WHen I picked it up on Wednesday, the sales guy said someone else came in on Monday and wanted to buy it! Whew! After waiting months, I almost lost it by a few hours!

Waiting to see the faces of my liberal buddy's when I pull up in it.
