That's my trail leader and his family in the G-wagon. If you must know, there are only three stock vehicles in the U.S. with front and rear differential lockers (NOT locking differentials!): Jeep Rubicon, Dodge powerwagon, and the G-wagon. He already broke a very modified Explorer and a Disco II on the rocks and he has a dream trip planned: Alaska-England. He figured that the Mercedes truck parts will be available on the Eurasia trail when he breaks down in Siberia

. Anyways, it a solid vehicle except that the stock tires are street tires

. Besides at that price, the scrapes and dings hurt a little more

. It's not for everyone. I can't imagine spending that much for any car (don't mean I can't admire my brother's Vanquish, though) and am not driving across Asia and Europe! We're going to Moab in the Fall so if yu want to see it in action next to the Blue Dragon, come ride with us.
