Factory battery started acting up a week ago and then left me high and dry in my garage this weekend. I am assumed that it would not be covered under warranty.....so I replaced it with a Optima yellow top.
Question is, what is the purpose of the stock battery cover? Is it an insulator for in the cold, to keep the dirt off, and or just for looks?
