I mud alone in the middle of BFE alot and these have saved me lots of times.

Uhhh.... It's not like this was my first time playing at The Sink. I've got lots of history there. If I would have gunned it in that location with my tires at that angle I would have immediately been up to my doors and not just on my frame. The problem with that mud is that with any kind of motion you get liquefaction which just exacerbates the problem. Speaking from experience, I did the right thing for the situation.
Arrow A points to the recent waterline. The entire prairie had been underwater since probably early March.
Arrow B points to a nearly perfect tank trap quagmire. If I'd punched it I would have ended up there for sure. The only way out of that would have been with an 8-wheeled floater. Been there & done that.(Me=

Arrow C points to No Man's Land. Cows don't even go out there. They might be simple animals, but they're not completely stupid.
