mmm Lets see I wheeled the piss outta my truck out west for two weeks and it didn't hit the tailgate once (though I really don't know how it ever would
). Yes you have to open the tire carrier to take it off, however that double as second layer of security since I have drilled a hole in the pin detent to fit another padlock. So if the carrier can't open you can't steal the can. Still yours looks like ****, is unsecure and over priced. I can't to see one so I can take a drunk piss in it. Why you ask because there is nothing stopping from doing so. Don't try to reinvent the wheel Chump!
