I suppose if I wanted extreme flex say for rock, I'd probably get something in Bias ply. Out here though, it takes >2 hours to get any dirt, even at 80 MPH. We have cactus that'll cut sidewalls. I've used "E" rated BFGs on my Burb with great success as an all around tire with that huge range of pressure available. And I can air-up and down anywhere, anytime. I use an infrared thermometer to set pressure to get even wear accross the face of the tire.
