When you buy bike at the high end of the price range, they come without pedals. It is assume that you're pretty into biking and have your own preference for a certain type of pedal (Speedplay for me). Same with the road bikes.

wonder if we could do this with wheels, you know sell the car without them (bike without pedals) and then charge for the wheels.
