F5 what do you think? If the diff was torqueing an inordinate amount because the mount was shot could that cause a ring gear/pinion failure...

I have been wondering that myself.
It all depends on whether or not the pinion angle is changed under torque. and if the degraded bushing causes it.
Curious.
Could be a Chicken and egg question.
