As far as I know, they are the exact same rim. Could be some marketing weenie thinks that Adventure series vehicles should not have them, so can't be ordered from the factory.
I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I have seen adventure tires at least on chrome wheels somewhere at the GM tech center.
