I made one of my favorite dishes tonight. Aunt Betty's potatoes in the Dutch oven. (I've never done it on a grill in a dutch oven before) Now I have concrete potatoes to clean out of the bottom of the dutch oven.
The top layer was really good though! I made them when Adam was at my house visiting, but thank heavens they weren't stuck to the bottom of the dish!
What's everyone's favorite Dutch oven recipe? We can cook a couple on the trail.
Mine is definitely my breakfast caserole. Sausage, bacon, hashbrowns and eggs. The eggs are scrambled and poured on top of the other ingredients so it mixes inbetween all the other stuff. Tobasco tops it off nicely. Milk chaser. Coffee to finish.
