Default Re: Catagory BLing/ Non Bling

In my opinion, bling consitsts of anything on the vehicle that's sole purpose is cosmetic. Doesent matter if you powder coat 22" wheels its still bling since they are soely for apperance enhancement (does not imporve perfomance in any way). However, if you put on a chrome roof rack, it is not purely bling due to the fact it enhances the performance/capacity of the vehicle. Therefore a big chrome exhaust is not purely bling, but it still is Ghey. Understand????

I think there should be three categories:

1. Pure bling: (big wheels, chrome dorhandles, grilles, hood guns, body colored moldings, Woodgrain, other chrome, titanium, shiny painted "acessories". Basically anything you would see in "DUB" magazine.

Member example: Humbob

2. Blingy: (chrome 18's w/ 37" M/T or A/T's, chrome roofracks, brushguards, chrome exhaust, etc.) things that do enhance performance, but also add "flair" as the blingers like to call it...

3. Non-Bling: Powder coated anything so long as the intent was to make the object easier to clean, hide brake dust, reduce glare, without any preformance reducing side effect. Also, winches, racks (ss included as its function is to prevent rusting), Fabtech tie rods (as they only come in a bright finish), anything coated in bedliner, anything hiding factory bling that was unavoidable (ie bedlining the mirrors). Bumpers that improve angles, lights that are not of the neon variety, etc.

Member examples: Me or Neocon 1.
