It's because there are more intelligent people here with more experience who don't simply drive their trucks down straight roads.
Sorry, but when the stock 35" tire rubs on a good portion of the trucks, 37x12.5s rub on all stock trucks. We know for a fact that a 38x15.5 rubs like hell. Even after it rained.
Just because it will fit in there doesn't mean it will "run" the tire.
