It's kinda like when the Good Looking new person shows up in town in high school. They could be the coolest mother****er alive, yet everyone has to poke and make fun of and not really except them until time passes or they do something that makes everyone say, "wow, what a bad ass"...
There are way to many turds that own TJ's and are proud of them for some artificial reasons. They have no idea what makes the vehicle a good off-road rig and they own one just to own a jeep. Then you have the TJ loyalists that believe just as the CJ and YJ guys did, that their TJ is the best.......hands down.....
Now, the JK comes out, has everything and much more that the TJ has, and people are knocking them (Especially on jeepforum.com) because like the semi popular kid in high school did, they felt threatened by the new kid on the block.
In this case, they should. Because just as the TJ is superior to the YJ and CJ in every way.......the JK will be to the TJ.....Even with the straight six gone. It's gonna take awhile for the TJ owners to excpet that they aren't the bad ass jeep anymore...
Yes the JKBoard is a good board. As is a few other jeep boards I frequent. I dont even really like posting at Jeepforum.com because like bodybuilding.com, there is a ton of good information, but way to many idiots to sift through...
