It's hard to describe exactly, but it was more of a muted, grinding noise that would happen just as I was coming to a full stop. I thought it might be the brakes, at first, but it never happened when I applied the brakes just to slow down or do anything other than come to a complete stop. Also, the H3 didn't "jerk" or "jump" when stopping, like it might do with a brake problem (or like when ABS sometimes kicks-in). The service manager called me yesterday afternoon just to make sure everything was still OK (it is).
