Go to Home Depot and get a few of them fertilizer spikes for the soil.

One for the tree and drive one into your forehead.

hey dennis thanx for all the advice . we did everything you suggested but had trouble with the last stake . we used a 10 lb sledge . sorry man forgot that weighs about 4 and a half kilos ???

my skulls just to thick , but you know that but Nav gave it her best , she wants to save her baby maple tree it was planted before we bought so not sure how the soil was prepared . probably just a bunch of rock down there
