The Pathfinder with a 4.0L 270 hp V6 weighing just as much as the H3 can get 16/23 mpg and is pretty quick(0-60 in 7-8secs). Only problem is it's not an H3. I would think the H3 could get close with a new powerplant. Obviously not match it because of aerodynamics, but at least come close.
So a 6 or a V8? Which would actually be better to keep the MPG close to the same while improving acceleration and passing power?
