its whatever you like , but for offroad you want to air your tires down as much as possible for traction . so a bigger tire on a small rim gives you more side wall to use as footprint of tire . with the narrow sidewalls that you get with a 22'' or larger wheel it takes away from how much you can air down , and also can damage the wheel easier . The giant wheels with rubberband tires are pretty much a mall cruiser look .
