Re: 35" BFG all terrains?
BFG AT's are good everywhere except when it gets wet or muddy, then they seem to lose some grip. But in on-road rain and snow conditions, they're great, and they do well enough in the woods.
From what I've heard, avoid MT's for all around tires because of the lack of siping, which will hurt their snow/rain/ice performance.
Have you thought about running 33's on your rig for daily driving, and then having a set of 35 MT's on rims for when you run trails? The MT's are great off-highway. I know that is somewhat expensive (I've contemplated it) but it might be worth it in the long run (less wear on your road tires, better off-highway performance).
