I love my 3, probably the best all around vehicle I have owned, but the Scout was a fine vehicle. Remember, in the wise words of Sir Rodney King, "Can't we all get along"

I gotta agree, I built a few myself, they're hell bent for stout. Rust though, oh geez, you couldn't keep a Scout from rusting out. I just gave up and let mine oxidize. I had full cage, winch, lockers front and rear, a 304, granny low five speed and Dana 300. It was killer. One thing it couldn't do, no how, no way, and what the H3 does soooooo much better, is sidehill. It's one reason that I have no plans to lift my H3. Some folks have a higher pucker capability than I do. Low as I can go and still get there does it for me.
