Those hoping for a calm day in terms of the wind won't be so lucky. Great Falls is under a high-wind warning from noon today until 5 a.m. tomorrow.
Jackson said to expect sustained winds in the 35-40 mph range, with gusts much higher than that.
"It's entirely possible we might get up to 70 miles per hour or so," he said.
Areas along the Rocky Mountain Front between Choteau and the Canadian border could see gusts upwards of 100 mph, he said.
