The difference between stamped and cast really comes into play if you use it alot. the cast will last longer under repeated heavy use, both are rated for the same weight. price is not that different cast is red stamped is black new extreme is silver,(dont know much on that one) as for height 48'' plenty for me
IMO go w/stamped, few more dollars=last a lifetime. also so far no problem with dirt but you could lube every so often and not worry about it.
