First of all that sounds like a bunch of malarkey if you ask me. Mine doesn't do it, and I spent this last 3 day weekend in temps ranging from -9 to 10 degrees F, with no adverse effects on temp gauge. Anytime in the past when the happened it
has been the the temp sensor, but with all the computers introduced now on late models it could be some kind of relay thats fouling up.
I can take pics of my H3 rails for you tonite and post them. I had mine inspected by Hummer dealer, and I know the service manager there, so I know that mine is the way it is supposed to be. Maybe look for another dealer, these guys sound like a bunch of lazy douchebags. Godd Luck!
