Not the bearings, maybe the steering components. The only way your bearings are affected are if the wheels are the wrong offset. If they are centered over the hub/bearing, no problem. Larger tires will multiply the forces on the steering, much like using a cheater bar provides more force the longer it is. Leverage at work.
