ASLW, I took my 3 onto the freeway this afternoon to test the new A pillars. I drove up to 72mph .. no windshield shattering sound. I had had the A pillars replaces once before for a peeling problem, but maybe they didn't glue them down enough. I had only one roof rail replaced in the past .. the driver side (for a crack). No winds here today, so I don't know if this will hold true on a day with crosswinds .. but, so far, so good. I was beginning to hear it at 55mph. The service writer had told me the fix was gluing the A pillars down very well. Hope she's right!
