I know what you mean, I put on the Aries chrome covers over the handles and my new High Tech door handle surrounds wouldn't fit.
I had to buy the factory chrome ones, that cost me over 200.00 bucks, Ooch! With the price of the new handles and the price of the surrounds, I could have almost bought the full billet aluminum handles.
