What you're describing sounds like "brake dust" but it's not the brake dust from your truck, it's the brake dust from the train your truck was hauled on and it's a very common problem especially on lighter colored vehicles.

Get a Mother's Clay Bar kit that has the spray on lubricant and clay bar and follow the directions to the letter, then follow up with a good wax. The clay bar kit is rated for 3 to 4 average size vehicles but for heavy brake dust on something as big as a H2 I'd buy 2 kits and swap the clay out when it gets contaminated.

I was skeptical about the clay bar, my engineering mind didn't believe it would work but it works very well. I've used them to remove overspray, brake dust, you name it and they are amazing and the finish is incredibly smooth afterwards.
