thanks rebel, kinda makes sense as there is/was no damage, scuffs, etc. to make me think it got hit.
as far as adding the piece, dealer told me that he wasn't sure if it would fit an SUT and ea. corner cost $48.
Snowing here today but may fool around w/ it this w/e.
Also dropping off my spare rims to be p/c black on Sat.
