I Love the look of the 6" with 38's. Yes performance was hurt and so was mileage but it looks bitchin' and I get compliments on it every time I drive the thing.
Off road, its a beast in the snow but thats all I have had it in so far. Planning to hit Moab with it some day.
Oh btw, I did gear it, and it did help but there is still a performance loss. I tow my 5+k lb Jeep with it and it's not that bad.
