Huck BB62 knows what he's talking about. I was born and raised in California and made frequent trips all over the Sierra Nevada. You think you've seen snow? In the Sierras, they don't measure snowfall in inches, they measure it in FEET. Snow and/or mud on logging roads? The old-timers that live there all have tall, skinny tires. Us yoyo's are sliding around in circles with our wide tires while the locals blow past us on their tall skinnies. And some of them are driving 2-wheel drive pickups. I got stuck in the deep stuff once. My vehicle wouldn't budge, despite two winches yanking on it. We spent about six hours digging and discovered that I was sitting on top of a picnic table. It fit perfectly between my front and rear tires. The "clearing" that we were messing around in was acutually a picnic area in a campground.
