To save the planet, This was the Army way of doing things,
1. Take a piece (one square) of TP
2. Fold square in half
3. Rip out a small half circle in the middle of the fold (keep this little circle)
4. Open square of TP
5. Stick your finger in the hole created in step 3; make sure to push paper all the way down
6. Ram it up your rear and pull out
7. Take paper and wipe upwards to clean finger
8. Take the small circle you cut out in previous step and clean your fingernail.
There are roughly 400 squares in each roll, so a roll should last 400 poops.
Two rolls should last a person one-year
