The H1 ALPHA's came with snorkels, Nope. Not standard. And a snorkel does not constitute a deep water fording kit. FYI - the fording depth for the H1 is 30", only 6" more than the H3.
Not sure on the $60k price tag, but I believe there is a market that would gladly pay $50k for an H3 ALPHA with V8, real tires, front locker, deeper fjording capabilities, heavy duty roof rack, and that CTIS would just be the sh*t!!!! I know I would. |
The H1 is a completely different beast, with 4 wheel independent suspension, geared hubs, inboard brakes, etc. etc. CTIS may not even possible on an H3. That's mainly why you got a

If F5 is right, and the Alpha comes as a package with the Lux interior, etc., then I'd expect it to come pretty close to $50K without all options you're mentioning. My $60K comment was actually being generous.
