Default Back from AZ; Awesome H1 Tour Pix

A bit long, but worth the read I think:

Ok, so we did a 'red eye' flight all the way from Phoenix back to Burlington, and right now I'm seriously tired, but I'll attempt to inform you about the happenings anyway.

As some of you may have read in my previous thread, I was in Phx, AZ over my spring break on a church mission trip with a bunch of my friends. We worked on the Pima Indian reservation and also a Cook College doing all sorts of handy work and odd-jobs. But we got to have a little fun too, and seeing as I am who I am, I pulled some strings and did a little research to find something I thought would be appealing for everyone...

We went on a desert tour on Saturday afternoon in a couple of old school HUMMERs. Needless to say, I (and everyone else) had a blast. Our tour guide was wonderful, and really made it a great experiance. We did the tour through Desert Storm Hummer Tours, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience an H1 in action and doesn't have the moolah for their own.

The best part of the trip was a torrential downpour happening mid-tour in the middle of the desert. Thats when our guide started gunning it, soaking all of us screaming passengers in the process. It was friggin' awesome!!

I feel really good about the week: We were able to help those less fortunate than ourselves, and we were able to have a blast doing it!

Hope you enjoyed the long read!

\/ That's me freaking out during the tour.
