What if another country hated our policies but really liked our natural resources. So let's say they pretend to be our friends and supply the government with false (or even true) information against Mexico that incites us to go to war. Finally when they have enough evidence that we're cruel, inhuman and warlike, they invade our soil, to "quell the violence". And when people fight back, they kidnap anyone they want, take them to foreign prisons, and torture them for information ... still pretending to be righteous and magnanimous. Meanwhile they set up corporations to "develop a free economy" that exploits our natural resources.
Are they really fooling anyone? I don't care what their citizens download off YouTube, it would never justify invading my homeland, and I'd fight back same as you.

A liberal rant so early in the AM.
WTF does this have to do with the video? Did this woman invade her country so that she could be stoned to death. Was her husband a GI who invaded so SHE could be stoned to death.
I believe what the video was showing was how barbaric the Muslim religion really is, and didn't have anything to do with US policy on throwing terrorists in jail. (Terrorists meaning someone not fighting in a uniform or supported by a government, which from what I remember of my days in the military had no protection from the Geneva convention. In fact, those not in uniform of another country in WWII were executed as spies.)
