This is my own conspiracy theory. I think the reason that RCR and Dale Jr. haven't talked yet is they already have talked in the past. There is too much history bewteen RCR and the Dale Jr. for them not to have talked about the question of, "Where would you go if you ever left DEI?" I am sure RCR has pitched Jr. on what he could provide. There is no reason for them to talk right now because Jr. knows what RCR is going to be able to give and provide him.
If Jr. does go to RCR the one thing I do not want to see is them bring back the #3 car, #33 car or any variation of it. That is part of the history of the sport. Leave the 3 car forever retired.
