There was the tie rod slow down, and the cylinder head slow down. The head problem was instead of servicing the head as a bare head, having the techs switch out the valves, springs, etc., they decided to have the heads built up at a factory. That cause some slow down on parts.
I haven't heard anything about the fuel pumps, probably a standard with many other vehicles.
If there are any large number of backordered parts I would like to know. Now that the tie rod issue has been corrected (I hope for ever), I need something to bug people about until I leave for Utah on the 30th.
