Default Re: TOYOS LOUDER IN TIME ?

i agree with the abnormal wear comment.
there are different ways to rotate tires.
some simply go back to front and others go back to front and switch sides.
my best guess would be that the tires were wearing abnormally and after the rotation when you tried to put them back in place, either the fronts, rears or all ended up on opposite sides.
if this is the case it sounds like the truck was way overdue for an alignment and once aligned, it will take a little time for the tires after rotation to get back to normal wear.
you should be able to see if this is the case simply by looking at the inner and outer edge of the treads on each tire and seeing if there is additional or less wear than the rest of the tread.
i am not sure about toyo mud terrrains, but the mt's i have used in the past tend to be softer rubber and more exagerated treads, thus the extra noise. they tend to wear faster on the asphault than at's.
but they look cool and they sure handle better off road!
and let's face it, we'd all rather look cool and possibly attract hot chicks with our cool, loud tires on our h3's anyway!

one complaint: why isn't there a "hot chick" icon sysmbol available on this board?
