you will love the Glock. I've got two 17's and my wife carrys a 26. I've ran about 5000 rounds through the 26 and only one jam when my wife limp wristed it. The other two have about 1000 rounds between the two of them. If you are going to carry for protection, they are the gun to carry.
I've got a Para 45 with about 400 rounds through it and its not reliable yet. i've done some polishing on the feed ramp etc and havent been out to the range to try it yet. Para told me it needs about 700 to 800 shot thru it before it becomes reliable....was suprised about this since i am used to the glock out of the box reliability...
