Both of the cars in the garage are more expensive than the hummer? Are the cars in the garage goin to get vandalized too? Nope.
My H2 fits in my garage, and fit in my garage at my old house with roof bars (just barely). My H1 also fit in my garage at my old house too but I had to fold in the mirrors. If your really close you could take off your roof rack or lower the car a little bit with the torsion bars just enough to make it in the garage.
Unless of course you'd like to wake up once in a while with shyt all over your hummer or maybe get unlucky like the guy who had his windows bashed out and tires slashed.

Wow, let's see if I can answer some more dumb questions here...
The H2 is NOT a daily driver. I would not want to move it in and out of the driveway every morning and every night, just so we can get our other cars out of the garage each morning and back into it each night. That seems really dumb. That's one.
I would say that the value of the cars is similar, but it's all relative. I assure you my wife thinks more of her pimped out SUV than she does of my off road toy. I think the value is insignificant since the other cars fit in the garage and the H2 does not. There's two.
Do you have any concept fo what is on my rack, or even what goes into mounting a GOBI rack? I am assuming not. I have never even heard tale of someone trying to take that rack off to get in the garage and putting it back on when they pull out. Anyone? That's three.
I'm not even going to comment on the torsion bar idea.
