Default Re: sleep study

I didn't mean it like that.

FWIW- I think the mask is sexy, it's kinda like I'm fuggin Darth Vader.

I noticed Ken stopping breathing and bucking for air often at night. It scared me to the point that I was staying up worrying about him. Not to mention the large snort (not a typo) when he finally came to finally breathe in- scared the crap out of me. It sounded like some sort of devil pig. His eyes were always red and he had bags and was pretty tired all day. I have been waiting for him to get all this done for years.

Anyway, the CPAP has helped, his eyes are white and no bags. He gets up earlier and gets more done during the day. The machine just has a low hum and you can hear the exhale, but at least I know he is breathing.

The amount of oxygen lost during sleep apnea is scary. Like Ken said, bring your own pillow to the study, my Dad took some Benedryll before hand also. It is awkward falling asleep with cameras on you and all the sensors.

Good luck and keep us updated.
