Now there is a reasonable answer to the question.
Why should you turn the engine off? It prevents the auto shutoff from working properly.
Just thought I'd point that out incase anyone missed it like I almost did because of Lenny's crappy attitude.

YOU should look in the mirror before you tell someone they?re stupid and to grow up. Somebody not knowing the inner working of a gas pump does not make them stupid. My guess would be that over 99% of the population doesn?t know the inner workings of a gas pump. I?d like to think that a larger portion of the population knows how to have an intelligent discussion.
I'm new to this forum, and this is only my third post. I must ask, what's with all the negative attitude here? Is it always like this?
