The new ONSTAR module will stop the Nav from working. In factory 2008 H3's that come from the factory with Nav Radio, we are putting in a different ONSTAR module so it will work. If you decide to do this, you will need the other ONSTAR module or one from 2007 model which is close to the same.

Just ran out to check this cause I put an '06 nav unit from my 07 H3 into my 08 Alpha. Telephone and OnStar worked fine-I even had OnStar run a diagnostic and they said it was working as it should.
Maybe my Alpha is too early production and has an 07 module?
