The price is great, but I agree it does look a bit cheap for the Hummer man. For one thing, it is not one piece, but several bolted together. I am a little leary about the racks that mount to the crossbars. This past weekend, Hunner had his rack (not a Surco) move forward due to the channels not holding up. I believe a second spare was mounted on top, so the weight might've been too much for the crossbar channels.
I am thinking more along the lines of the Defender rack sold by Off Road Unlimited. It looks and feels pretty stout, one definitely made for the Hummer man!!
